May 2016 Grade 3 News

We have been working on student animal research reports in Language Arts and are continuing our study of animal life cycles this month in Science by having the students observe and record how butterflies hatch from their chrysallis.

Students are continuing to investigate other cultures in Social Studies and comparing those countries with Canada.

In Math we will be covering Measurement, Shapes and Solids and Fractions in the upcoming weeks.

We have booked our field trip on June 7th to Spruce Meadows. All volunteers must have the criminal check completed in order to attend. We would like to share that day with at least 12 Grade 3 parent volunteers (Sorry no siblings allowed—it is your Grade 3 student’s special day with you.)
