COVID-19 Continuity Plan
As you are aware, schools across Alberta have been closed to students until further notice. These are unprecedented times for Rocky View Schools; we want to assure you that our jurisdiction is taking a thoughtful and responsive approach to plan the continuity of learning for students and services to our families.

Up to Date Information As It Is Received at CES
Please watch the school website for up to date information as it is received. We will attempt to answer all questions or concerns in the coming weeks as we form plans and receive information. At this time we are asking students and parents to not come to the school until plans are in place for any pick ups or deliveries.
March 15, 2020, Schools Close to Students
Effective March 16, 2020, schools will be closed to students until further notice. This directive was set by Dr. Deena Hinshaw, chief medical officer of health, at approximately 4:30 today due to the detection of community transmission of COVID-19. Staff is expected to report to their school to prepare for the weeks ahead.

2020/21 Advanced Registration Begins Jan. 13, 2020
From Jan. 13, 2020 onward, all schools will be accepting registrations through SchoolEngage or in person at the school. Although registration will continue through to next September, registering early ensures families have a successful transition.
Kindergarten Eligibility Requirements to Change for 2020/21
Effective Fall 2020, students must turn five years old by Dec. 31 of the school year they wish to begin Kindergarten.
